Job Description

As a Head of Information Security, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive information security policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with global and regional security regulations and standards.
  • Managing incident response plans and leading investigations when security breaches occur.
  • Collaborating with the technology department to integrate security measures into system designs.
  • Providing training and awareness programmes to promote a culture of security across the organisation.
  • Monitoring and reporting on security performance and threats to executive leadership.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders to ensure the security of partnerships and third-party integration.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Information Security should have:

  • A strong academic background in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in information security within the leisure, travel, and tourism industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
  • Experience in managing security risks and implementing effective controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
