About Our Client

Our client is a leading multinational manufacturing organization with a strong presence across regional and international markets. The company is currently undergoing a key phase of operational optimization and global expansion, and is seeking a senior leader to design and execute a cost‑efficient, end‑to‑end supply chain strategy.

Job Description

  • Lead and own the global S&OP / IBP process, aligning demand, supply, inventory, and capacity planning across regions
  • Define the global manufacturing and sourcing strategy, including plant allocation, production footprint, and make‑vs‑buy decisions
  • Develop a cost‑optimized supply chain network covering raw materials (pulp, packaging), conversion, warehousing, and international logistics
  • Evaluate and optimize cross‑border supply flows, considering tariffs, freight costs, service levels, and working capital
  • Partner with commercial teams to support international market expansion, new market entry, and product launches
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production cost per ton, logistics cost, and inventory levels
  • Lead and develop a multi‑disciplinary supply chain team across planning, procurement, logistics, and operations
  • Act as a key advisor to senior management on global supply chain risks, capacity investment, and scalability

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 12+ years of experience in supply chain, operations planning, or manufacturing strategy
  • Strong background in paper, tissue, FMCG, or process manufacturing
  • Proven experience leading global S&OP / IBP processes
  • Hands‑on experience designing low‑cost manufacturing and supply chain strategies for international markets
  • Strong understanding of production economics, logistics costing, and trade‑offs between cost, service, and inventory
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior leadership
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, international, matrix organization
  • Fluent English is essential; additional regional language skills are a plus
