This role will be responsible for ensuring sound financial management, regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, risk management, and business planning, while leading a high-performing local finance team and collaborating with regional stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Lead the overall finance, accounting, tax, and financial control activities for the Indonesia operation.
  • Drive financial planning initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, provide actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of management reports and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Establish and strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, while managing external auditors and relevant authorities.
  • Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or financial management roles.
  • Prior experience in public accounting or audit firms would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, compliance, and risk management.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop finance teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
  • Demonstrated integrity, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
