Head of Corporate Affairs & Government Relations (Healthcare)

This is a newly created leadership position with an opportunity to build the Government Relations function from the ground up.

The successful candidate will develop an enterprise-level Government Relations strategy for Indonesia, bringing together the priorities of multiple businesses while maintaining their individual commercial operations.

The role will work closely with senior regional leadership and business stakeholders across the organization, requiring the ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across a complex, highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and establish the company's Government Relations strategy and operating model in Indonesia.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with relevant government, regulatory and healthcare stakeholders.
• Monitor developments across healthcare policy, regulation, market access and government priorities.
• Translate policy and regulatory developments into business opportunities, risks and strategic recommendations.
• Develop an integrated approach to government engagement across multiple business units.
• Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and initiatives aligned with Indonesia's healthcare priorities.
• Represent the company in relevant industry associations, forums and external engagements.
• Provide senior leadership with strategic advice on government affairs, policy developments and stakeholder dynamics.
• Facilitate alignment between business leaders on key government priorities and external positioning.
• Support the business in navigating Indonesia's evolving healthcare and regulatory environment.
• Establish priorities, metrics and KPIs for the Government Relations function.
• Demonstrate how government engagement can support market development, business growth and long-term strategic objectives.
• Build the function and stakeholder architecture from the ground up.
