Our client is a leading international industrial manufacturing and engineering solutions business serving critical infrastructure, energy and industrial markets globally. With approximately 2,500 employees across manufacturing facilities, project sites and commercial operations spanning Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America, the organisation has established a strong reputation within its specialised sector.

The leadership team is globally distributed across multiple regions, creating a highly international environment that requires close collaboration across cultures, markets and business functions. This position will involve regular international travel to engage leadership teams and operational sites globally while driving a consistent people strategy and organisational culture.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will:

  • Develop and execute a global people strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Build a high-performance culture across geographically dispersed operations.
  • Partner senior leaders on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and change management initiatives.
  • Lead leadership development, succession planning and talent management programmes globally.
  • Drive the modernisation of HR policies, systems, governance and digital HR capabilities.
  • Strengthen capability within the HR and General Affairs function through coaching, structure and process improvement.
  • Bring greater clarity, focus and operational excellence to the global people agenda while supporting ongoing transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group VP - People and Culture should have:

  • More than fifteen years of HR leadership experience, including experience operating in a regional or global capacity.
  • Track record within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, energy, construction or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Strong experience partnering executive stakeholders on organisation design, workforce strategy and business transformation.
  • Demonstrated success leading culture-building initiatives across diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven capability in developing high-performing HR organisations and improving functional effectiveness.
  • Experience across compensation and benefits, talent management, employee relations, workforce planning and HR governance.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple countries, cultures and business functions.
  • Comfortable undertaking regular international travel to support regional operations and leadership engagement.
