Job Description

As a Government Relations professional, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitoring and interpreting regulatory changes relevant to the life science industry.
  • Preparing and submitting required documentation to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align business strategies with regulatory expectations.
  • Representing the organisation in government meetings, hearings, and public forums.
  • Providing expert advice on regulatory matters to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensuring timely communication of regulatory updates to key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating potential compliance risks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Government Relations professional should have:

  • A degree in law, public policy, or a related field with 5-10 years in relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in regulatory compliance within the life science industry.
  • Strong understanding of government processes and legislative frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
