Job Description

As a Finops Data Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines to support financial operations and analysis.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and process data requirements.
  • Creating and optimising data models for financial insights and reporting.
  • Implementing data governance practices to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Monitoring and improving the performance of existing data systems and workflows.
  • Analysing large datasets to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimisation.
  • Providing technical support for financial operations tools and platforms.
  • Documenting processes and maintaining technical documentation for future reference.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finops Data Engineer should have:

  • Proven experience in data engineering within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
  • Strong knowledge of data processing tools and programming languages such as Python or SQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
