As Expansion Senior Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and executing our client's growth strategy by identifying, evaluating, and securing new store locations. This role plays a critical part in accelerating market penetration, ensuring optimal site selection, and managing expansion projects through store opening.

We are currently representing one of our client within the retail indusry. The company has a strong presence in the country and looking to grow its stores portfolio in strategic locations.

Job Description

  • Developing short- and long-term retail expansion strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify high-potential locations
  • Identify and evaluate new retail sites (malls, high-street locations, standalone stores)
  • Lead negotiations with landlords, developers, and agents to secure favorable lease terms
  • Oversee the end-to-end process from site acquisition to store opening
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property developers, mall operators, and brokers
  • Identify opportunities to optimize store portfolio and improve profitability
  • Provide guidance to junior team members on site evaluation and negotiation

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field
  • 12 years of experience in retail expansion, real estate, or business development
  • Proven track record of successfully opening multiple retail locations
  • Strong negotiation and deal-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling abilities.
  • Deep understanding of retail leasing and property markets.
  • Project management and execution capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
