You will partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Architects, Security, and Executive Leadership to drive product innovation while maintaining world-class engineering standards.

Job Description

Engineering Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing software engineers.
  • Drive a strong engineering culture centered around ownership, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and career development.
  • Foster collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams.



Technical Delivery

  • Own the successful delivery of critical projects and product initiatives.
  • Ensure engineering teams consistently meet quality, security, scalability, and performance standards.
  • Guide system design discussions and architectural decision-making.
  • Drive technical excellence through code reviews, engineering best practices, and process improvements.



Platform Scalability & Reliability

  • Build systems capable of supporting rapid user growth and increasing transaction volumes.
  • Improve system availability, observability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Security teams to strengthen platform reliability.



Crypto & Digital Asset Product Development

  • Contribute to the development and scaling of crypto-related products, wallet infrastructure, blockchain integrations, and digital asset services.
  • Ensure systems meet security and compliance requirements expected of financial and digital asset platforms.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends within blockchain and fintech ecosystems.



Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define technical roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Communicate technical priorities, risks, and progress effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Align engineering initiatives with broader business objectives.



The Successful Applicant

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years managing engineering teams in a technology-driven organization.
  • Experience leading engineers through high-growth and fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record delivering customer-facing products at scale.



Industry BackgroundWe are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Crypto wallet platforms
  • Crypto exchanges
  • Blockchain infrastructure companies
  • Web3 applications
  • Fintech startups
  • Digital banking platforms
  • Online brokerage firms
  • Payment technology companies
  • Consumer technology startups



Technical Expertise

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and architecture knowledge.
  • Experience building distributed systems and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with high-throughput transaction processing systems.
  • Familiarity with API-driven architectures.
  • Good understanding of software security, scalability, and reliability practices.
  • Exposure to blockchain infrastructure, wallet technologies, custody solutions, or digital asset products is highly preferred.
