Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage full-cycle implementation projects for payment and transaction processing solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, internal development teams, and external partners during integration and deployment phases.
  • Gather and validate technical and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and solution capabilities.
  • Oversee system configuration, testing, certification, and go‑live activities.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables with strong governance and documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout the implementation process.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to resolve issues and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Conduct user training, knowledge transfer, and support handover to post‑implementation teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, security requirements, and regional regulatory guidelines.
  • Continuously improve implementation frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in implementation, system integration, or technical project management - ideally within payments, card systems, switching, or banking technology.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Card issuing/acquiring systems
    • Payment switching, transaction flows, ISO8583
    • ATM, POS, or digital payments
    • API integrations and database structures
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-level implementation projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability, with a hands-on approach to resolving technical challenges.
  • Experience working in regional or multinational environments is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with proven ability to deliver under tight timelines.
