Job Description

As a Medical Channel Sales, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to expand market share within hospitals, eye clinics, and optical retail networks.
  • Identify and build relationships with Pediatric Ophthalmologists, Ophthalmologists, KOLs, and key healthcare stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of myopia management solutions among pediatric eye care specialists and hospital accounts.
  • Lead business development initiatives targeting hospital groups, children's hospitals, and ophthalmology centres.
  • Partner with optical shops and optical chains to increase product availability, visibility, and commercial performance.
  • Educate customers on clinical benefits, treatment pathways, and evidence-based approaches to childhood myopia management.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and implement growth plans for strategic customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, and Professional Affairs teams to execute educational programmes and market development initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities within pediatric eye care and optical channels.
  • Deliver sales targets, forecast accuracy, and sustainable business growth across assigned territories.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Medical Channel Sales should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Optometry, or a related discipline.
  • Proven sales experience within medical devices, ophthalmology, vision care, optical products, or healthcare channels.
  • Strong network within hospitals, ophthalmologists, pediatric ophthalmologists, or eye care professionals is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in channel management, distributor management, or key account management.
  • Experience working with optical retailers, optical chains, or eye care networks is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, matrix, and performance-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
