Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end finance operations including accounting, financial control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Develop financial models, business cases, and performance dashboards for management and board review
  • Oversee all tax matters including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and tax planning
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, audit requirements, and fintech-related regulatory standards
  • Manage treasury functions including cash flow planning, liquidity management, and banking relationships
  • Optimize working capital and funding structure to support business growth
  • Act as the key point of contact for investors, shareholders, auditors, and external advisors
  • Prepare investor updates, board materials, and support fundraising or strategic transactions when required
  • Build, lead, and develop the finance team
  • Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and operational efficiency

The Successful Applicant

  • A strong background in Accounting & Finance within the Financial Services industry.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in finance or accounting.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • An agile personality, strategic mindset and a results-driven approach.
