As a Business Unit Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Have owned P&L statements
  • Overseeing the performance and operations of the technology department.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions.
  • Managing budgets and resource allocation for technology projects.
  • Monitoring industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational standards in all technology operations.
  • Leading and mentoring team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Providing regular reports on project progress and outcomes to senior stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Unit Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in managing technology operations within the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of technology systems and their applications in retail.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective technology strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
