We are seeking an experienced and strategic finance leader to oversee the end-to-end accounting, taxation, budgeting, and financial reporting functions of a leading company in the insurance industry. This role requires a strong technical background in accounting standards, taxation, budgeting, regulatory reporting, and IFRS frameworks, combined with proven leadership capabilities in managing high-performing finance teams.

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all accounting and tax operations to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded, properly documented, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), prevailing tax regulations, and internal corporate policies.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and governance across all accounting activities.
  • Direct the company's budgeting process, including annual budget preparation, monitoring, and performance tracking.
  • Analyze budget realization and financial performance trends, providing actionable recommendations to management.
  • Support strategic planning and business decisions through accurate financial analysis and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain robust financial documentation and record-management processes.
  • Ensure accounting records and supporting documents are properly organized, secure, and readily available for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assessments.
  • Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies to meet compliance requirements.
  • Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of financial reporting standards, including IFRS 17 / PSAK 117.
  • Ensure readiness of systems, processes, and financial data to support regulatory and group reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of reports to regulators, auditors, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the accounting and finance teams.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive financial transparency and operational effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and taxation regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with IFRS 17 / PSAK 117 implementation and reporting.
  • Experience within the insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, audit coordination, and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a dynamic business environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
