As part of its continued growth within the pharmaceutical business, the company is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive commercial activities and strengthen relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers across Indonesia.

Job Description

As an Account Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

    • Manage and develop relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and key decision-makers.
    • Drive sales growth and achieve commercial targets for the API portfolio.
    • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers.
    • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential customers.
    • Conduct regular customer visits and provide commercial support throughout the sales cycle.
    • Collaborate with global principals and suppliers to promote product offerings and develop market strategies.
    • Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
    • Prepare sales forecasts, market analysis, and business development plans.
    • Work closely with regulatory, technical, and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution.
    • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Account Manager should have:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related discipline.
    • Minimum 10 years of commercial experience within the pharmaceutical ingredients, APIs, excipients, or specialty chemicals industry.
    • Proven track record in B2B sales, key account management, and business development.
    • Strong understanding of the Indonesian pharmaceutical market and manufacturing landscape.
    • Established network within pharmaceutical manufacturers is highly preferred.
    • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
    • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
