Job Description

  • Supporting the mobilisation and implementation of new laboratory projects
  • Participating in project planning and tender support activities, including site assessments
  • Overseeing laboratories during the early stages of service delivery to ensure smooth start‑up
  • Conducting site reviews and audits to monitor performance, quality, and compliance
  • Providing technical guidance and problem‑solving support to laboratory teams
  • Supporting the application and maintenance of recognised laboratory standards and accreditations
  • Contributing to process improvements focused on quality, efficiency, and turnaround time
  • Assisting with training and capability development within laboratory teams
  • Working with management to identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities



The Successful Applicant

  • Background in laboratory operations, technical services, or industrial testing
  • Awareness of quality systems and laboratory standards (e.g. ISO or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting or managing projects, implementations, or operational change
  • Ability to work with diverse teams across multiple sites or locations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly
  • Organised, structured approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Degree in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline
  • Fluency in English; additional regional language skills are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel as required
