Job Description

As a Supply Chain Assistant Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage day-to-day supply chain coordination involving procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
  • Conduct regular travel to multiple sites to oversee warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, loading/unloading processes, and operational issue resolution.
  • Monitor and track raw materials and finished goods movements to ensure timely supply.
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendor teams for delivery planning and quality monitoring.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly supply chain dashboards, including cost, service, and operational performance metrics.
  • Support supply planning activities to optimize material flow and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational standardization across sites.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply Chain Assistant Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain roles within manufacturing, palm oil/biodiesel, chemicals, or FMCG.
  • Strong operational mindset with hands-on experience in inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations.
  • Comfortable working in field conditions and willing to travel frequently to remote operational areas.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
