This role ensures that bids are technically compliant, commercially competitive, and strategically aligned with company objectives, while minimizing commercial and contractual risks.

About Our Client

We are currently representing one of our client in the construction industry, specializing in MEP works for various projects across the country.

Job Description



  • Lead the end-to-end tender process for MEP projects including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, BMS systems, etc.
  • Review tender invitations, drawings, specifications, and contractual conditions
  • Develop tender strategies (pricing, method, subcontracting, risk allocation)
  • Ensure timely submission of compliant, accurate, and competitive tenders
  • Oversee detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, logistics, and preliminaries
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, and QS teams during tender preparation
  • Lead clarification meetings with clients, consultants, and partners
  • Identify, prequalify, and negotiate with MEP subcontractors and suppliers
  • Lead commercial negotiations to achieve cost efficiency and risk mitigation
  • Identify commercial, technical, and contractual risks during tender stage
  • Review contract conditions
  • Lead and oversee the tender team

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Proven expertise in tendering processes within the industrial/manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess project requirements effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A keen understanding of construction industry standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for tender preparation
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously
