Job Description

As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities
  • Develop and implement commissioning strategies, procedures, and schedules
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure systems meet design, safety, and operational requirements
  • Oversee system handover from construction to operations
  • Monitor and troubleshoot commissioning issues to ensure smooth start-up
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support operator readiness and performance testing

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in commissioning within oil & gas projects
  • Proven experience in EPC project environments
  • Strong understanding of process systems, utilities, and commissioning workflows
  • Experience with start-up and operational handover
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in remote project locations
  • High commitment to safety and operational excellence
