Job Description

As an Operation Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and coordinate multiple operational projects to ensure successful delivery within agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical and operational support to customers and project teams.
  • Manage logistics, inventory, equipment mobilisation, and resource allocation across projects.
  • Ensure operational equipment and assets are maintained, inspected, tested, and available for deployment.
  • Drive operational performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor project costs, utilisation of consumables, rentals, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Produce and review operational reports, procedures, and performance metrics to meet customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain lessons learned databases to improve future project execution.
  • Coordinate staffing requirements and competency development to support current and future projects.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, clients, vendors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, contractual obligations, and business ethics standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operation Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within the oilfield services industry.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience managing projects, operations, or field service teams.
  • Strong background in Surface Well Testing, Produced Water Treatment, or related production services.
  • Experience delivering services to both domestic and multinational oil & gas operators.
  • Solid understanding of operational planning, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both onshore and offshore operations.
  • Proactive, accountable, and capable of working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
