It operates in a highly regulated and operational environment where strong legal, insurance and risk management are important to business continuity.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day legal, insurance and claims matters across the business.Administer corporate insurance policies, including renewals, records, approvals and supporting documentation.Coordinate insurance claims from initial notification through evidence gathering, coverage review, negotiation and resolution.Review insurance policies, coverage, exclusions, liability and indemnity provisions and identify potential exposures.Review contracts and provide preliminary legal and commercial risk analysis, particularly around liability, indemnity and insurance obligations.Prepare claim documentation, supporting evidence, correspondence and preliminary recommendations.Maintain accurate legal records, contracts, claims trackers and confidential documentation.Support relevant regulatory and compliance matters across the business.Coordinate with insurance brokers, insurers, external counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up.Escalate material legal issues, litigation, settlement decisions and significant financial exposures to the Legal Counsel / Manager.Support the business in identifying and mitigating contractual, insurance and operational risks.The Successful ApplicantKey RequirementsS1 Law with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Legal, Insurance, Claims or Contract-related functions.Practical understanding of insurance policies, claims, liability, indemnity and dispute processes; hands-on claims experience is preferred.Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Marine/Shipping or industrial infrastructure would be an advantage.Good understanding of Indonesian legal and regulatory requirements.Good spoken and written English, with ability to handle English contracts and correspondence.Analytical, detail-oriented and highly organised, with strong follow-up and documentation skills.Hands-on and comfortable managing matters independently while knowing when to escalate.Commercially aware with strong stakeholder management skills.Able to coordinate effectively with brokers, insurers, external counsel and internal functions.What's on OfferWhy Join?Take ownership of legal, insurance and claims matters within a complex energy infrastructure environment.Build broader exposure across legal, insurance, claims, contracts and risk management.Work closely with senior stakeholders and external advisors, with meaningful responsibility from day one.Interested in the opportunity?
