Job Description

As a Lead Regulatory, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring changes in regulations and advising on their implications for the organisation.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align business practices with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Representing the organisation in discussions with regulatory authorities and industry bodies.
  • Providing guidance and training to staff on regulatory matters.
  • Conducting audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in compliance processes.
  • Preparing reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and internal reviews.
  • Ensuring timely communication and resolution of regulatory issues within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Regulatory should have:

  • Educational background in law, public policy, or a related field with around 10 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks within the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply regulations effectively.
  • Experience in liaising with regulatory authorities and other external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
