Job Description

As a Head of Store Design, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain store design standards and concepts for all store formats.
  • Lead end‑to‑end store design development, from concept to final drawings.
  • Ensure designs support strong customer experience and efficient store operations.
  • Oversee MEP planning to ensure correct utilities, safety, and energy efficiency.
  • Review architectural drawings and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Manage project costing, budgeting, and cost‑efficiency initiatives.
  • Monitor construction quality to ensure designs are executed correctly on site.
  • Drive cost optimisation while maintaining brand quality and consistency.
  • Lead and develop teams across design, MEP, architecture, and quantity surveying.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative working culture within the department.

The Successful Applicant

  • 12-15+ years of experience in store design, architecture, retail development, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical and creative teams.
  • Proven success in developing retail concepts and managing large‑scale store rollout programs.
  • Solid understanding of MEP, architectural standards, and construction quality management.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in cost optimisation and budget management.
  • Strategic thinker with high creativity, operational understanding, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
