As a Manufacturing Manager, you will lead production operations to ensure efficiency and quality in a high-performing industrial/manufacturing environment, improve production performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple production functions. This role requires a proactive individual who can implement strategies to optimise processes and meet production goals.

Job Description

  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations across multiple production areas
  • Lead production planning execution to ensure output, quality, and delivery targets are met
  • Monitor and optimize manpower allocation, overtime usage, and production efficiency
  • Drive operational KPIs including OEE, OTIF, scrap reduction, inventory control, and productivity improvement
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process optimization, and operational savings
  • Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, maintenance, automation, and tooling teams to improve plant performance
  • Ensure production processes comply with quality, safety, environmental, and operational standards
  • Lead manufacturing teams including managers, section heads, supervisors, and technical personnel
  • Support equipment modernization and process enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Analyze manufacturing performance data and prepare reports with actionable improvement recommendations
  • Partner closely with plant leadership to execute business objectives and operational strategies

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including leadership experience at managerial level
  • Strong understanding of production management, operational planning, and process optimization
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing large production and technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to solve operational and equipment-related challenges effectively
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
