Our client is seeking a highly skilled Head of IT Development to oversee and elevate a large in‑house development team across backend, frontend, mobile, and applications. You will play a key role in leading the upgrade of their core enterprise system and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable solutions.

Our client is a fast‑growing property development area undergoing a major digital transformation. With all development managed in‑house, they are modernizing their core systems [ERPs], covering marketing, finance, and accounting while strengthening their enterprise technology capabilities to support future scale. The team is fully on‑site and based in Jakarta.

Job Description

As a Head of IT Development, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the technology strategy to support the company's goals in the property industry.
  • Involved in leading an ongoing core system upgrade (ERPs) projects.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of developers (Backend, Frontend, Mobile) and IT specialists to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Overseeing the design, development, and deployment of internal technology systems and software applications.
  • Ensuring system scalability, security, and reliability through effective planning and execution.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology into business operations.
  • Providing insights and reports to senior stakeholders on technology performance and advancements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of IT Development should have:

  • Ideally 8 - 10+ years of experience in managing enterprise architecture and complex system integration.
  • Proven expertise in leading technology teams within the division.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including internal software development.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset to align technology initiatives with business outcomes.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources for technology projects.
  • Tech stack: PHP, SQL Server, Azure
