Job Description

As a Head of Finance Operation, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and managing tax planning strategies to optimise efficiency.
  • Leading the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely audits.
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures in alignment with organisational goals.
  • Providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Managing relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
  • Monitoring cash flow and ensuring effective liquidity management for the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance Operation should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CA are an advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial management practices.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role within the retail industry or a similar sector.
