About Our Client

Our client, a diversified investment and business group, is seeking a General Manager Finance to lead the Finance, Accounting, and Tax (FAT) function for its operations in Tegal. This position will be responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, effective cash flow management, and operational finance excellence across the business.

Job Description

  • Lead the Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions for the Tegal operation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Oversee cash flow, working capital, and treasury management.
  • Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and financial governance.
  • Monitor operational performance and provide actionable financial insights to management.
  • Manage statutory reporting, taxation, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop the local finance team while driving process improvements and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience as Finance Controller, Head of Finance, Finance Manager at large organization
  • Real sector experience, ex-auditor is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, and internal controls.
  • Willing to be based at Tegal office. Transport and accommodation will be provided
