Job Description

As a Factory Head, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring production targets are met.
  • Implementing and monitoring quality control systems to maintain product standards.
  • Managing and optimising the engineering and manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Supervising and mentoring the production and maintenance teams to ensure high performance.
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to align production goals with overall company objectives.
  • Analysing and managing budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Factory Head should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Proven expertise in the FMCG industry, with a focus on production and operations management.
  • Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in implementing and managing quality control and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in analysing operational data and optimising manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
