EPCIC Contract Manager (Oil & Gas)

Reporting to the Midstream Project Manager, with a functional reporting line to the Senior Contract Manager, the successful candidate will manage key midstream contracts and ensure contractor activities comply with contractual obligations and company requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the administration and execution of EPCIC and other project contracts, ensuring compliance with contracting policies, legal requirements and project-specific obligations.
• Manage contractual correspondence and maintain comprehensive correspondence and contract change registers.
• Work closely with the Project Management Team to evaluate variations and change orders, including preparing recommendations for management review and approval.
• Oversee negotiation of final accounts and manage contractual requirements relating to performance guarantees and insurance.
• Lead the evaluation, preparation, negotiation and settlement of contractual claims with EPCIC and other contractors.
• Partner with Legal and Project teams on dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration or litigation where required.
• Proactively identify contractual and commercial risks and develop early resolution strategies.
• Provide contractual input to Project Controls for budget forecasting, cost reporting and schedule risk assessment.
• Participate in internal and external risk workshops and drive mitigation of contractual and commercial exposures.
• Ensure contractual obligations are appropriately flowed down to subcontractors, suppliers and project partners.
• Support robust Anti-Bribery & Corruption and Counterparty Due Diligence processes in line with internal policies and relevant lender requirements.
• Coach project personnel on contract management practices and drive knowledge sharing and lessons learned across projects.
