Job Description

  • Develop and execute the enterprise technology vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as the primary technology advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
  • Drive technology-enabled business transformation and innovation initiatives.
  • Lead technology investment planning and strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across retail, supply chain, finance, merchandising, and customer-facing platforms.
  • Drive modernization of Retail Management Systems (RMS), Finance platforms, Business Intelligence, and data ecosystems.
  • Champion emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, automation, predictive analytics, and cloud solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement build-versus-buy strategies to maximize business value.
  • Oversee Retail Systems, ERP, Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, WMS, POS, and Business Applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement of business applications and operational processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration across all enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure reliable operation of all store, warehouse, and corporate technology environments.
  • Establish highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms.
  • Lead cloud transformation, data center modernization, network optimization, and workplace technology initiatives.
  • Maintain service availability and performance across all business operations.
  • Own enterprise cybersecurity strategy and risk management framework.
  • Strengthen cyber defense capabilities through modern security technologies and operational controls.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Establish governance frameworks aligned with COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001, and related standards.
  • Build a data-driven organization through advanced reporting, analytics, and BI capabilities.
  • Establish enterprise data governance and information management practices.
  • Enable business leaders to make informed, real-time decisions through actionable insights.
  • Drive technology service excellence across all business functions.
  • Ensure achievement of service levels, uptime targets, and operational KPIs.
  • Lead continuous improvement of ITSM processes and support functions.
  • Foster a customer-centric service culture within the IT organization.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing technology organization comprising internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage technology leadership across infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, applications, data, and transformation functions.
  • Promote Agile ways of working while maintaining strong governance and project controls.
  • Build succession pipelines and leadership capabilities within the organization.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar IT operating and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors and service providers.
  • Drive vendor performance, commercial negotiations, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of technology leadership experience, including senior executive roles (CIO, CTO, IT Director, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience across:Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure & Operations, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, IT Service Management
  • Strong understanding of retail technologies such as POS, ERP, WMS, CRM, and Omnichannel platforms.
  • Experience managing large IT budgets and vendor ecosystems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience in Retail, FMCG, Consumer, E-commerce, or other multi-site organizations.
  • Exposure to Cybersecurity, Cloud, AI/ML, Data Analytics, and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Experience implementing IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, or ISO27001.
  • Strategic thinker with strong operational execution capability.
