Job Description

As a CEO your main responsibilities will include:

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Define and execute the hospital's long-term strategy in alignment with global corporate objectives
  • Identify growth opportunities, including service line expansion, partnerships, and market positioning
  • Strengthen brand positioning as a leading healthcare provider within the local and regional market



Operational Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end hospital operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and patient safety standards
  • Drive clinical governance frameworks and accreditation standards (e.g., JCI or equivalent)
  • Implement robust KPI tracking across clinical, operational, and service delivery metrics



Financial & P&L Management

  • Own full P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, cost optimization, and EBITDA performance
  • Develop and oversee annual budgets, capital expenditure planning, and financial forecasting
  • Optimize revenue streams across inpatient, outpatient, and specialized services



Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with regulators, healthcare authorities, and key opinion leaders
  • Collaborate with medical staff, board members, and regional leadership to ensure alignment
  • Represent the organization externally in industry forums and partnerships



People & Culture

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, patient-centricity, and innovation
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary leadership team, ensuring strong succession planning
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and leadership capability building

The Successful Applicant

A successful CEO should have:

  • Medical degree (MD) and/or advanced degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related field preferred
  • Proven track record of at least 15-20 years in healthcare leadership, with prior experience as Hospital Director/CEO or equivalent
  • Strong exposure to P&L ownership, operational turnaround, and large-scale healthcare facility management
  • Deep understanding of hospital operations, clinical governance, and regulatory frameworks in Indonesia or Southeast Asia
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic growth, service line development, and operational efficiency
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging regulators, boards, and senior clinicians
  • Leadership style that balances commercial acumen with patient-centric care and clinical quality excellence
  • Experience within a multinational or matrix organization is highly preferred
