Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsRegional Career GrowthStrong Technical DevelopmentAbout Our ClientOur client is a leading provider of industrial automation and flow control solutions, supporting customers across process industries including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Water & Wastewater, Petrochemicals, and Manufacturing.They are currently seeking an experienced Application Engineer to provide technical expertise in actuator solutions and support business growth across the region.This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with experience in valve automation, electric actuators, and industrial control systems who is looking to develop their career in a regional environment based in Singapore.Job DescriptionAct as the technical specialist for electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuator products and valve automation solutions.Provide technical consultation and application engineering support to customers, including product selection, sizing, specification, and system integration.Conduct site visits, application audits, technical assessments, and troubleshooting activities to identify optimal engineering solutions.Prepare actuator sizing calculations, technical proposals, datasheets, engineering submissions, and compliance documentation.Support commissioning, start-up, and maintenance activities while ensuring successful project execution.Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, seminars, and training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders.Develop technical content, application guides, case studies, and product documentation to support market development initiatives.Liaise closely with international manufacturers and suppliers regarding product specifications, certifications, technical support, and new technologies.Support projects from specification stage through commissioning while ensuring technical compliance and customer satisfaction.The Successful ApplicantDegree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in actuators, valve automation, instrumentation, industrial automation, or control systems.Strong knowledge of actuator sizing, torque calculations, valve operating characteristics, and automation applications.Hands-on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electric actuators and related systems.Familiarity with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Foundation Fieldbus, and HART.Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.Experience supporting customers within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water Treatment, Marine, or Process Industries will be highly advantageous.Experience with leading actuator brands such as Rotork, AUMA, Limitorque, Bernard Controls, Emerson, or Flowserve is preferred.Professional proficiency in English; additional language capabilities will be considered an advantage.Must be willing and able to relocate to Singapore for a long-term career opportunity.Eligible to work in Singapore subject to prevailing employment and immigration regulations.What's on OfferAttractive compensation and relocation support package.Opportunity to be part of a growing regional engineering team.Exposure to major industrial projects across Southeast Asia.ContactFelix GustafQuote job refJN-062026-7040101Phone number+62 21 295 888 51Job summaryFunctionEngineering & ManufacturingSub SectorAutomation / Mechatronics / RoboticsWhat is your area of specialisation?Industrial / ManufacturingLocationInternationalContract TypePermanentConsultant nameFelix GustafConsultant contact+62 21 295 888 51Job ReferenceJN-062026-7040101
