With a strong focus on regulatory compliance, land rehabilitation, and community engagement, they continue to invest in operational excellence and sustainability initiatives across their mining assets.Job DescriptionReporting to senior site management, the Superintendent Environment will be responsible for ensuring all environmental management activities comply with government regulations, permitting requirements, AMDAL commitments, and company standards.Key responsibilities include:Manage and oversee environmental management and monitoring programmes across mining operations.Ensure compliance with environmental permits, AMDAL, RKL-RPL requirements, and relevant government regulations.Lead environmental reporting processes to internal management and external regulatory bodies.Supervise environmental quality management, including water, air, noise, hazardous waste (B3), and non-hazardous waste controls.Coordinate mine reclamation and post-mining land rehabilitation activities according to approved plans.Conduct environmental monitoring, analysis, evaluation, and reporting to support operational sustainability.Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, HSE, Forestry, and external stakeholders to integrate environmental considerations into operational activities.Build and maintain effective relationships with government authorities, contractors, consultants, and local communities.Identify environmental risks and implement preventive and corrective action plans.Drive Good Mining Practice, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes.Lead, mentor, and develop the Environment team to achieve compliance and operational objectives.The Successful ApplicantA successful Superintendent Environment should have:Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Forestry, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Environment Superintendent role within a nickel mining owner company.Strong understanding of Indonesian environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and KPLH regulations.Proven experience managing mine reclamation, forestry programmes, and environmental compliance within mining operations.Mandatory certifications: POM, ISO 14001, PPPA, POPU, PLB3, and POPAL.Experience in environmental monitoring, regulatory reporting, and sustainability programme implementation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ArcGIS.Demonstrated track record of environmental achievements and successful project delivery.Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work on a site-based roster arrangement (8 weeks on, 2 weeks off).What's on OfferCompetitive remuneration package.Strategic leadership role with strong career growth opportunities.If you are ready to make a difference in environmental management, we encourage you to apply.ContactDina RizkiQuote job refJN-072026-7062707Phone number+62 21 29588910Job summaryFunctionEngineering & ManufacturingSub SectorCompliance / EHSWhat is your area of specialisation?Energy & Natural ResourcesLocationNorth MalukuContract TypePermanentConsultant nameDina RizkiConsultant contact+62 21 29588910Job ReferenceJN-072026-7062707
