Our client is seeking an experienced Interface Engineer to manage multidisciplinary interfaces across a major plant project. The role will coordinate engineering contractors and stakeholders, ensure designs comply with relevant standards, manage interface risks and issues, and support integration, installation and commissioning activities to deliver the project safely and effectively.

Our client is an established energy company involved in complex oil and gas development and engineering projects in Indonesia.

Job Description

As an Interface Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure plant design complies with regulations, international standards and engineering practices.
  • Coordinate interfaces between engineering disciplines and EPC, EPF and FEED contractors.
  • Manage interface risks, mitigation plans and issue closure.
  • Support integration testing, installation and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate technical and logistical interface issues.
  • Monitor project costs and delivery schedules.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interface Engineer should have:

  • D3 or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of relevant engineering/project experience.
  • Strong experience in integration, installation and commissioning activities.
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.
  • Strong coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.
