Our client is hiring for two niche roles 1) The Head of Process Engineering- Cell , 2) Head of Process Engineering - Module. These will lead and optimise process engineering activities, ensuring efficient and high-quality production in the Solar Manufacturing Industry. This role focuses on driving innovation and implementing process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

About Our Client

Our client is a mid-sized manufacturing company operating within the Solar Industry in India. They have a capacity of 10GW manufacturing and wants to expand the capacity to 15 GW and also backward integrate to even produce Ingots in couple of years. It is well-established and known for its focus on advanced technologies and high-quality production processes across multiple sites they have in India.

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all process engineering activities within the cell/module manufacturing unit.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
  • Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for optimisation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and manufacturing regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
  • Develop strategies to minimise waste and reduce production costs.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in the semi-conductor industry

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Process Engineering- Cell Or Module should have:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in process engineering within the solar cell/module manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cell manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
