Job Description

As a Chief Operating Officer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the end-to-end operational activities of the fuel business.
  • Overseeing production and fuel blending operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Driving Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) excellence across all operational sites.
  • Managing quality control processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Leading supply chain, procurement, inventory, and logistics activities.
  • Overseeing technical operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting sourcing, product development, and operational planning.
  • Collaborating with commercial teams to ensure operational readiness for business growth.
  • Developing operational strategies, KPIs, and performance management frameworks.
  • Building a high-performing operations team and strengthening organisational capability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief Operating Officer should have:

  • Extensive leadership with minimum 20 years experience within the fuel, petroleum, or downstream energy industry.
  • Proven track record managing fuel operations, terminal operations, blending facilities, or related businesses.
  • Strong expertise across production, supply chain, logistics, HSE, and quality management.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of fuel trading and sourcing activities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional operational teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive leadership capabilities.
  • Experience driving operational transformation and business growth initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree is advantageous.
  • Fluent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
