Job Description

As a CFO, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's goals.
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Managing relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis.
  • Monitoring cash flow, financial performance, and risk management processes.
  • Leading and mentoring the finance and accounting team to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Driving process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CFO should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, particularly within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing external financial relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication and decision-making abilities.
