Job Description

As a VP Portfolio, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to optimise portfolio performance.
  • Monitoring and analysing business metrics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive consultancy and change initiatives.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Evaluating market trends to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Overseeing resource allocation to maximise efficiency and profitability.
  • Support value creation and exit strategies.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP Portfolio should have:

  • A background in financial services with expertise in consultancy, strategy, and change management.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
  • Proven leadership abilities in managing teams and complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks within the financial services industry.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.
  • 8+ years in venture capital, consulting, or startup leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Southeast Asia's tech and startup ecosystem.
  • Proven experience in scaling businesses or managing startup portfolios.
