As Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating structural designs for building and steel structure projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety, constructability, and project requirements. This role works closely with project managers, drafters, and construction teams to deliver cost-effective and practical structural solutions for building projects.

We are currently representing one of our client in the construction industry. A long-standing company with portfolio handling large-scale projects in Industrial & Commercial projects.

Job Description

  • Prepare structural designs and calculations for RC and steel structures
  • Ensure designs comply with local and international codes (SNI, AISC, ACI, Eurocode, etc.)
  • Optimize designs for cost efficiency, safety, and constructability
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and fabrication teams
  • Support site teams during construction to resolve technical and design issues
  • Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Ensure proper design documentation, calculations, and approvals
  • Support value engineering and design improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • 3-7 years of experience in structural design, preferably with background in contractor / consultant side
  • Strong background in steel structures, industrial buildings, warehouses, and commercial buildings
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro, Tekla Structural Designer)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
  • Good communication and teamwork
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Able to communicate in English
