Job Description

As a Software Tester, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing test cases.
  • Maintaining documentation on test results.
  • Participating in product design reviews.
  • Ensuring that all software products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and backend applications
  • Identify, record, and document bugs and enhancements using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and hidden defects.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

The Successful Applicant

A successful Software Tester should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control systems (Git).
