This HRBP role will play a key part in strengthening HR processes and implementing people development programs at client's nickel site.Working closely with site leadership and Head Office HR to oversee HR operations, ensure compliance, and drive HR initiatives at the site level.

About Our Client

Our client is a mature mining group with well-established operation throughout their sites in Indonesia. They are currently expanding to new site and hence, looking for HR Superintendent with background in mining owner and has been in construction phase.

Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations and administration at the mining site.
  • Implement HR policies and programs developed by the HO Team.
  • Support the execution of people development, training, and promotion programs.
  • Improve HR SOPs, including recruitment procedures, training frameworks, and HR compliance.
  • Together with HR team manage workforce consisting of 200 direct workers and 700 contractor workers
  • Work closely with contractors, including international partners, to ensure proper HR governance and workforce discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and operational requirements in a construction-stage mining environment.
  • Roster 6:2

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably within nickel mining owner company.
  • Prior experience working at site.
  • Experience developing HR SOPs, L&D, and competency/certifications development initiatives.
  • Comfortable managing large contractor workforces and engaging directly with contractors.
  • Strong leadership and assertiveness to manage workforce discipline and operational HR challenges.
  • English proficiency is required due to regular interaction with expatriate stakeholders.
