Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day legal support to the company and its affiliates, including:
    • Drafting, reviewing, and advising on corporate, legal, and commercial documents
    • Drafting, reviewing, advising, and negotiating construction-related contracts and agreements
    • Advising on agreements with various counterparties, ensuring commercial and legal soundness
  • Develop and implement internal legal and compliance policies in line with prevailing laws and regulations
  • Ensure compliance in corporate actions, transactions, and deals with internal policies and applicable regulations
  • Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on legal, risk management, and good corporate governance matters
  • Support corporate secretarial functions, including amendments to articles of association, changes in company data, and board or commissioner appointments
  • Monitor implementation of company policies and employee compliance across the organization and group companies
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and proper execution of corporate actions and transactions from a business perspective
  • Provide updates and internal briefings on Indonesian regulations relating to construction, real estate, and investment
  • Assist with legal due diligence processes and liaise with external legal consultants
  • Support litigation, arbitration, or mediation matters in coordination with external counsel
  • Handle ad-hoc legal matters as assigned

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Indonesian-qualified lawyer with an active PERADI license
  • Minimum 8 years of legal experience, gained from:
    • A reputable corporate law firm (associate to middle-associate level), and/or
    • In-house legal roles within construction, real estate, or infrastructure companies, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Strong experience advising senior management of multinational companies, including non-legal stakeholders
  • Solid background in construction law, real estate transactions, and corporate matters
  • Strong understanding and practical experience withFIDIC contracts is highly important
    • FIDIC training certification and hands-on experience in FIDIC-based transactions will be a significant advantage
  • Well-versed in Indonesian corporate law, construction law, and real estate regulations
  • Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal)
  • 1 year contract role with possibility to be converted as full time employment
