Job Description

  • Develop and implement efficient and reusable frontend components using React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a seamless user interface and exceptional user experience.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand business requirements, user stories, and wireframes, translating them into technical specifications and actionable development tasks.
  • Lead and participate in architectural discussions, contributing to the overall technical roadmap and decision-making process.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, following best practices and coding standards, ensuring high-quality and performant applications.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to established coding guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal system performance.
  • Optimize application performance and identify and address any bottlenecks or issues related to frontend development.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in frontend technologies and frameworks, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance, support, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Work in an agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a focus on React.js, Next.js, and related technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other frontend technologies and frameworks.
  • Familiar with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and/or Static Site Generation (SSG)
  • Familiar with Kubernetes and write your applications Docker first.
  • Deep understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend components with backend systems.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • A passion for fintech and a strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic startup.
