The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience from GARDA Utama, demonstrating a deep understanding of security protocols within the mining sector.

Job Description

As the Security Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored to mining operations.
  • Managing and supervising the on-site security team, ensuring adherence to company standards and protocols.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure rapid response to incidents.
  • Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of security systems, including CCTV and access control.
  • Providing training and development programs for security personnel to maintain high performance and compliance.
  • Preparing detailed reports on security incidents and presenting findings to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 10 years proven experience in a security management role within the mining or heavy industry sectors.
  • A background with GARDA Utama or similar security organizations, showcasing strong leadership and operational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of security systems, emergency response planning, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to security challenges.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and proficiency in English is preferred.
