As Security Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all security operations at our client's Data Center. This role is critical in maintaining integrity and safety of the facility, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), regulatory standards, and business continuity plans. The role also involves overseeing security systems, vendor performance, and emergency response protocols to support a zero-downtime environment.

About Our Client

We are representing one of our Data Center Client who is expanding their team in Indonesia

Job Description

  • Lead daily security operations to ensure strict adherence to internal policies, client SLAs, and applicable legal/regulatory requirements
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update emergency response procedures for various scenarios including breaches, unauthorized access, and other critical incidents
  • Supervise the maintenance and performance of all physical security systems, coordinating with vendors to ensure high-quality service and timely preventive/corrective actions
  • Support ongoing compliance with industry certifications and standards and other audit requirements
  • Oversee change management activities involving security systems, including risk assessments, approvals, and communication of changes impacting operations
  • Maintain proper documentation and records, including visitor logs, incident reports, access audit trails, and inventory of security-related equipment
  • Participate in security risk assessments and support periodic reviews to enhance the physical security framework
  • Collaborate closely with Facilities Management, IT, Service Delivery, Projects, and other cross-functional teams
  • Act as the main point of contact with emergency services, law enforcement, and relevant authorities when necessary



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing security operations. With porfolio in data centers, critical infrastructure, or high-security facilities.
  • Strong background in coaching, leading, and developing on-site and outsourced security teams.
  • Deep understanding of global and local security standards and data privacy regulations.
  • Technical proficiency in operating and managing access control, CCTV systems, and security operations centers (SOC/SMEOP).
  • Security certifications are a plus point
  • Proven experience managing third-party vendors-establishing service contracts, KPIs, and budgets.
  • Skilled in reviewing and preparing incident documentation, RCA reports, budget forecasts, and asset tracking.
  • Fluency in English
  • Willing to be placed in Batam
