We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SEA Sales Lead to drive growth and lead our sales team across Southeast Asia. This role is accountable for account management, new business development, and key account management, with a strong focus on specialty products. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision, strong leadership, and a proven track record in commercial sales management.

Job Description

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Set and manage sales goals, ensuring targets are met across SEA.
  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, focusing on specialty products.
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to optimize strategies and drive business growth.
  • Support strategic marketing & sales initiatives, attending industry conferences.



Pricing & Market Insights

  • Provide market intelligence on demand, competition, and pricing trends.
  • Lead pricing council discussions to set competitive and profitable prices.



Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Recruit, hire, and develop Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
  • Train, motivate, and coach the team to enhance performance and achieve sales goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.



Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers across the region.
  • Act as an Account Manager for select key accounts when needed.



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A strong educational background in chemical engineering field.
  • Extensive experience in a sales leadership role within the chemical industry especially in Personal and Home Care industry.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
