The Regional Procurement Manager (Batam) will be responsible for developing and executing both sourcing and procurement strategy to drive cost efficiencies, ensure supply chain resilience, and support sustainable growth.

Our client is a multinational manufacturing company based in Batam. With presence all around the world, they help to support to the energy industry with high quality product to support their production.

Job Description

  • Oversee the direct & indirect procurement for Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Develop and implement global and regional sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve cost savings, risk mitigation, and long-term value creation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, engineering, R&D) to ensure supplier capabilities meet business needs.
  • Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms for materials and service.
  • Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize lead times and inventory levels.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the metals, oil & gas, or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Experience in global sourcing, supplier risk management, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
