As Business Development Manager (BFSI), you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new strategic BFSI clients, expanding enterprise accounts, and positioning the company as a trusted digital transformation partner for Indonesia's financial sector. You will work closely with regional leadership, solution architects, consulting teams, and C‑level stakeholders to craft high-value technology transformation programs.

Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Account Acquisition

  • Identify, target, and acquire new BFSI clients-including banks, insurance companies, multi‑finance institutions, and emerging fintech players.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Expand strategic relationships within Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 Indonesian financial institutions to drive multi‑year transformation programs.



C-Level Stakeholder Engagement

  • Leverage existing CXO and board-level relationships to unlock high‑impact dialogues around digital transformation, IT modernization, cybersecurity, regulatory readiness, and innovation.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Chief Digital Officers, and business leaders across the BFSI landscape.
  • Facilitate executive briefings, technology advisory sessions, and strategic roadmap discussions.



Solution Positioning & Value Articulation

  • Work with internal solution teams to shape compelling technology offerings across cloud, core banking/insurance modernization, AI/ML, data modernization, managed services, and consulting.
  • Translate client pain points into well-defined business cases, ROI models, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Lead tailored presentations, demos, and proposal defenses for high-value opportunities.



Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning

  • Maintain a strong understanding of Indonesia's BFSI regulatory landscape, digital banking trends, and shifting IT priorities.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities, competitive dynamics, and industry disruptors to refine market-entry strategies.
  • Contribute to annual business planning, revenue forecasting, and long-term growth initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience & Expertise

  • 7-12+ years of experience in Business Development, Solution Sales, or Enterprise Sales within IT Services, SaaS, cloud, consulting, cybersecurity, or enterprise software.
  • A proven track record of selling complex technology solutions to BFSI clients in Indonesia.
  • Deep understanding of the banking and insurance value chain, digital transformation themes, and mission-critical enterprise IT.



Executive-Level Relationships

  • Strong existing network and relationships with C-level and senior decision makers in major Indonesian banks, insurance firms, and financial institutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to open doors, lead enterprise conversations, and influence senior stakeholders.



Commercial & Strategic Skills

  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technology into business value.
  • Proven negotiation and deal-closing capabilities with experience managing large, multi‑stakeholder deals.
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams, operate in a matrix environment, and work under strategic targets.
