We are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager with a proven track record in IT Services and Consulting and extensive experience managing and growing clients in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) industry. This role requires a balanced mix of hunting (new logo acquisition) and farming (account growth & relationship management) within strategic enterprise accounts.

Job Description

New Business Development (Hunting)

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new BFSI enterprise clients for system integration and digital transformation services.
  • Build a robust pipeline of opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles-from initial engagement to proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (pre-sales, solutions, delivery, practice leads) to design and position tailored solutions.



Account Management (Farming)

  • Manage and grow existing strategic BFSI accounts, driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnership value.
  • Deeply understand client needs, technology landscapes, and transformation priorities to proactively identify growth opportunities.
  • Oversee account strategy, planning, forecasting, and relationship mapping.



Internal & External Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution and service excellence.
  • Partner with marketing and practice units to support industry campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales metrics, and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of sales experience in IT Services, Consulting, or System Integration companies.
  • Strong exposure to the BFSI industry, with an understanding of banking operations, risk, digital channels, and regulatory environments.
  • Proven success in both hunting and farming roles within enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex, multi-tower IT services (e.g., cloud, applications, modernization, cybersecurity, managed services, data/AI, digital platforms).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills including C‑level interaction.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in large contract structuring, RFP management, and enterprise deal cycles.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced global environment.
