Our client is looking for three region head where each head will be responsible to manage their own regions. This job requires flexibility of travelling, but you might not need to be based on site.

Job Description

You will be responsible to drive the market share growth across channels and markets. You are responsible to deliver the short term and long term business targets, and developing deep account relationships to grow the business. Other responsibilities include:

  • Forecasting short term sales plans and forecasts and providing inputs to midterm plans.
  • Collaborating with other functional team, and creating products relevant to the consumer.
  • Deciding on the most effective go-to-market and channel strategy in order to maximise sales execution.
  • Annual budgeting and investment plans, and to ensure these are all aligned with the strategies from the other business units.
  • Working very closely with other cross-functional leadership team to drive business, and to create impactful changes.
  • Designing an overall sales strategy, followed by implementation and executing the plans.
  • Managing, providing training and development to the team members, and facilitating career developments for team members through regular coaching / mentoring.
  • Setting goals for the team, being involved in setting up and defining KPIs, and to ensure the team is working effectively towards that goals.
  • Establishing and developing relationship with the network of the small and medium businesses within the areas managed, and regularly assessing the health of the partnerships.
  • Allocating needed resources that will support the business objectives and customer success.
  • Translating the different trends: consumer, market, competitors, and being able to refine and execute the strategies.

The Successful Applicant

It is essential that the candidate we are looking for has an experience in a reputable, fast-paced companies, with heavy preference from the consumer goods industry (FMCG / Distributors). Furthermore, you will be hands-on to personally drive and grow the business. You must be able to communicate in both Bahasa and English, and to seize the opportunity you should have:

  • University graduate major in a reputable university; post-graduate degree is a plus.
  • At least 5-8 years of working experience in a global organisation, and in the consumer driven market.
  • Hands-on, a team player and is able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for technology & start up environment.
  • Excellent business partner relationships, and influencing multiple stakeholders.
  • Track records demonstrating ability to implement a system or a high-calibre team of sales personnel.
  • Demonstrating ability to prioritise work in order to achieve the given target.
  • Complete fluency in both English and Indonesian, spoken and written as well as strong business acumen, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong experience in managing top line through Sales Fundamentals (Repeats, Order Basket Size, SKU/s per order) & bottom line (Margin, Cost)
  • Flexibility in travling, and being out there in the field to be closer to customers, and to the team.
